Watsons Bay & Bondi Beach

Well we weren't actually feeling too bad on New Years day so decided to take advantage of the fantastic weather! We took the peasant boat (aka the passenger ferry) to Watson's Bay - and didn't we just know that it was a public holiday with lots and lots and lots of people! Still we got there walked on the beach for 10 minutes and went to the pub for a couple of hours enjoying the sunshine, then returned to downtown Sydney! We had a great laugh and everyone was still happy from the party on the cruise the night before!
Of course the honeymooners now have the opportunity of getting photos taken together. I think that you can tell from this photo that we are in Sydney!
There are currently massive storms up the coast in Brisbane (Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast) so many of the beaches were closed on New Years Day hence our visit to Watson's Bay and not to any of the Tasman Sea beaches. The following day we walked around Kings Cross and Paddington areas and decided that as we are in Sydney we should take the opportunity and visit Bondi. So the photo adjacent shows the view from a 1st floor restaurant where we were lucky to get a sea view table!
Jim and Gail's evidence that they were on Bondi Beach following dipping their feet in the sea. No swimming was allowed as the rip was still too strong. Not that we had our swimming cozzies with us!
This photo depicts the Supermodels cruising on Bondi...- well with all that flesh on show we were covered up - of course all to do with the strong sunshine! We are on factor 30 sunscreen due to the effects of premature ageing. Still everyone was posing with their taut bodies, pert breasts, nice tans - I think you can picture the scene (well the scenery around us - very nice!)
